Why you should vote for Attorney Maes

Attorney Rachel Maes has spent her legal career trying to make life better and safer for her neighbors

With the breadth of her experience representing the State, County, and City governments, Attorney Rachel Maes has spent her legal career trying to make life better and safer for her neighbors and improving the communities she has lived in. This experience covering many different kinds of cases uniquely positions Rachel to be judge and to be adaptable enough to handle the variety of cases circuit court judges are required to preside over. She understands the importance of the rule of law and of bad actors facing consequences.

Rachel is not just another prosecutor seeking to be judge, however – she has experience with so many more kinds of cases than a singular and specific niche of the law. She also volunteers with the Greater Green Bay Chamber of Commerce to further Diversity and Inclusiveness efforts in Brown County. Rachel has built relationships within the community as the result of being an advocate for equal justice, dignity, and diversity that allow her to better understand and empathize with marginalized communities located in Brown County.  Attorney Rachel Maes truly believes that justice is blind, all people are created equal, and everyone should enjoy the benefits and freedoms protected by the Constitution of the State of Wisconsin and the Constitution of the United States of America.

Rachel brings with her a fair, balanced, and practical perspective

So why is Rachel running? Rachel recognizes how great of a community Brown County is and wants to ensure it continues to be a safe, welcoming environment for her three children to grow up in. Rachel believes that having options in representation leads to a more robust and well-rounded judicial system. Contested elections allow for different judges to improve upon or change what business as usual looks like in the Courthouse.  Rachel is challenging a judge who has not had a contested election since since 2003, before Facebook was even created! Having contested elections combats complacency and will more likely result in a candidate, like Rachel, who has drive, passion, and a fire in her belly being elected to serve the people of Brown County and to uphold the interests of justice. Rachel brings with her a fair, balanced, and practical perspective with the strength of character to make tough decisions independently without bowing to political influence.

Brown County is ready for a fresh perspective

Rachel has proudly represented her community and neighbors, with the interest of justice and fair, practical outcomes always at the front of her mind. Brown County is ready for a fresh perspective from a candidate who brings with her a broader representation of the people of Brown County to the courthouse. Attorney Rachel Maes is ready to work hard and bring her fresh perspective to the people of Brown County as Brown County’s next circuit court judge.
