Brown County runs deep in Rachel’s character and personality.
Attorney Rachel Maes is a Wisconsin Native. She was born in Milwaukee and moved to the west side of Green Bay when she was four years old. From Kindergarten through high school graduation, Rachel was a student within the Green Bay Area Public School District, going to school at MacArthur Elementary, Lombardi Middle, and Southwest High Schools. As part of her extracurricular activities in high school, Rachel was on the Mock Trial team at Southwest High School the only three years Southwest advanced to the State Tournament in Madison. Rachel was also one of the Commencement speakers at her graduation ceremony. Brown County runs deep in Rachel’s character and personality.
In the summer between high school and starting college, Rachel participated in a Congressional internship with Congressman Mark Green’s office. The prior summer, Rachel had volunteered at Congressman Green’s office in Green Bay. Rachel’s desire to help her neighbors and pursue a career as a civil servant was stoked after working with a great staff dedicated to serving northeast Wisconsin.
Rachel loves any opportunity to make the community better now and for the next generation.
After living in Madison, the Twin Cities, and Superior, Rachel had experienced living in different sized cities, and Green Bay was where Rachel wanted to raise her kids and send them to school. It was a purposeful decision choosing to come back to Brown County. Brown County is safe, with good schools, and residents who are hardworking, honest, and compassionate. Rachel loves any opportunity to make the community better now and for the next generation. Green Bay and Brown County are Rachel’s home, and she was thrilled to return.
